Texture of Sphalerite
To simply put it, Sphalerite can vary also in texture: it can be anywhere between bumpy to smooth. In the middle picture the surfaces are smooth and in the last picture the edges are jagged. It just depends on the specimen you are looking at.
Also, the texture varies because of where/in which rock it is found in. This mineral can be found in all of the three main rock groups; Igneous rock, Metamorphic rock, and Sedimentary rock.
